The Subsequent 37 is the primary sound generator of this improvisation. Interestingly, I started on one patch then accidentally switched the banks while performing. Fortunately, I stumbled upon a wonderful sound to continue forward. Another instance of a wonderful accident. Serendipity of sorts, really. At any rate, the patch I found was the preset called "Celestial," or something of the sort. Of course, I improvised with all of its parameters throughout this piece. The initial sound was something like "Electrinet," as in an electric/electronic clarinet.

InstaLooper3 is the looper, although I am learning how it works through these musical experiments. Suppose I will eventually read the manual as well ... .

There are also two instances of Valhalla Shimmer, one for the initial sounds, the other for the selected loops. The first is based around the OctaveUpOctaveDown preset, while the second is based upon the TajMahal preset. Well, they were based on these presets several works ago. At this point, I do not know how much either resembles their origins.

Both shimmers are further unified via a mutual third reverb -- the TAL Reverb 4. A Blackhole reverb VST further unifies the sounds. In this latter case, the initial sounds and the selected loops thereof are sidechained through the Blackhole, which is then sidechained back through the TAL Reverb 4.

All channels of the mix are spread carefully throughout the full stereo spectrum.
