Okay, so I couldn't work on either of my other projects which are both requiring my various forms of instrument performance...so I started this one up.

Anyways. It's a piece based in a similar sonic exploration as what became known as "In Orbit" - the original title being "(m3, M3) Scale." Well, as you might suspect, this piece is based on scales derived from alternate minor thirds and perfect fourths.

The bass line carries these sequences. The sounds themselves of which the bass consists are quite more liberally taken from other sources. The main character, one might say, is the bass sound based on a couple of my related digital math art pieces from a few years back. They themselves have little to no relation to the central idea of the piece except for perhaps their mere synchronicity in my production plans. Perhaps there is some less consciously known to myself reason these images are making their appearance in this piece...but I wouldn't be consciously aware of any such reason...now would I? ^_^

At any rate, more particular to this piece is it's 6/6 time signature. Much to do with 3's, 4's, and 6's in this here piece of musica. Heh.

Most everything outside of the bass line is somewhat more...incidental...yet super cool! Found some great sounds in the process of producing this piece, so of course I just went with it.
