"I Like This" is a song which pleasantly surprised even myself. I like it when seemingly different ideas turn out to be completely related in amazing ways - almost more surprising when it is in such an open ended pursuit as music, less so when it is intrinsically so.

This has been one of those prior occasions. I will refrain from reciting the precise reasons why the mathematics behind this particular sequence of permutations of these three words has with their literal meaning. Suffice it to say, I am always astounded when my intuition precedes me in such an intensely cool way.

As for what "I Like": I'm afraid the object of these affectionate words did not occur along with the words themselves, not even an image of what I might "like"; I just heard them somehow already in the music and went about putting them there so I could hear it more clearly than they already sounded in my auditorial imaginings.

As for the music: I've decided not to write the essay/novel about the musical structure this time. With a little effort, one might construe the correct pattern if they so wish simply by listening to the song. The arpeggiation-like process leads the way if you wish to decipher it. Within this main voice, one line ascends between another line which alternates incessantly. Once it reaches the top, it proceeds in the same fashion back down to where it began. Most of the other elements of this piece accentuate the movement of the arpeggiation-esque theme.
