This is an album which I put together while thinking about going back to remixing, mastering, etc. the album that my previous computer rendered in need of such services when it crashed. I still intend to release the album I had finished previous to BASSIC LAHJIC, but it seems it will be after yet another album's release - this one.
This album marks a new sound, provided by an upgrade in my synthetic production equipment, made possible by a series of fortuitous and serendipitous conspiracies of gifts, timing, and awesome discounts. In fact, the first song - "Keep Pushing Thru" - was a piece I created to test and celebrate this new software. The rest of the songs followed in a predictably ceaseless flow of creation.
As with BASSIC LAHJIC, and indeed most all of my music for some years now, a generally positive mood is attained and maintained throughout the album. Also as in BASSIC LAHJIC, the songs have remained rather bass-centric, though, if anything, the overall EQing is even more tightly engineered in accordance with basic psychoacoustics.
In other words, feel free to turn it up, and jam out without worrying about going deaf in the process. ^_^
