Diecisiete Aulas, or "Room 17" in English, is a single which contains a song which originated in a room by the number of...17. It was intended to be a room wherein Spanish was to be learned by the occupants. Whether or not any of that was accomplished by some, several others asked me about the stickers on my keyboard...which led to a demonstration of the shortcuts in my DAW...which resulted in this single.
The original track is at 140 bpm, mostly because that is the default tempo of the initial set up of the program I use.
The "Artsy P11 Remix" was also named after the room in which it begun. This time, it was not as a demonstration of production techniques, but instead a wonderful way to spend a period of preparation, or "prep period" as it's known in the biz.
This remix is at 128 bpm - quite noticeably slower - and the vocal effects take the center stage.
